How are Sport Cloud Predictions organized?

How to play Sport Cloud Predictions

Playing Sport Cloud Predictions (SCP) is very simple! In order to predict results do the following steps:

1. check if you are logged in. If you are not, the system will redirect you to the registration page
2. visit Competition Selection and choose competition you would like to predict results for
3. at this point you see current standings. Clickon the  Predict Results link
4. you can see the fixture list for the chosen competition There is a blue icon near each fixture. In order to predict result click on that icon
5. There are two input boxes available, one foreach team. Enter a number of goals for each team and click on the green icon in the bottom section of the editor to submit your prediction
6. This is it! Repeat step 5 to predict more results.

Note that fixture list is displayed for the next 14 days.

Points

Points are calculated once the result of the match is entered. The calculation is not performed in real time; therefore slight delay can occur. Calculation is made based on the criteria described below: For each prediction 1 point is automatically awarded, regardless of the match outcome. Extra points are rewarded based on:

• 3 points for correct match outcome of the game (Example: prediction Chelsea - Everton 1-1, actual result 0-0)
• If the outcome of the game is correct the extra points are awarded based on the following criteria:
  • 1 point for correct prediction of number of goals scored by the home team
  • 1 point for correct prediction of number of goals scored by the away team
  • 1 point for correct prediction goals difference
  • 5 points for accurate result This means that you can get 12 points for a perfect score.
  • Bonus points are rewarded only if you predict a perfect score. One point is rewarded for each goal in the match
